Shape the Evolution of Mobility

The best way to understand our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) is through our products.

At Bombardier, our goal is to develop market-astute aircraft and trains that generate increasing social and economic value while consistently setting the benchmark for environmental performance. We call it the Evolution of Mobility.

Guided by our Health, Safety and Environment Policy , our lifecycle-based product responsibility strategy drives the Evolution of Mobility. It leverages policies, directives, systems and tools that allow us to foster wealth and well-being by connecting people, businesses and nations, safely and comfortably, with sustainable mobility solutions.

By kicking our Design for Environment (DfE) training into high gear, we’re sparking unprecedented innovation and excitement among our people. From engineers to procurement specialists and global DfE teams, employees are embedding lifecycle management into our processes and products to create tangible benefits for operators, passengers and communities.

New product Environmental Performance Indicators and customer-centric metrics help us monitor and continuously learn and expand our capabilities. As indicated in our Code of Ethics & Business Conduct, we remain committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, while meeting our responsibilities relating to product labeling, marketing communications, customer health and safety, and customer privacy.

And with our customers facing stricter environmental regulations throughout a product’s lifecycle, it’s our job to help meet them. We’re actively involved in global initiatives aimed at complying with these regulations and achieving our own industry commitments, which includes a carbon-neutral future for aviation.

At Bombardier, our product responsibility is overseen through engineering and is embedded within our Design for Environment, Design for Safety and innovation teams, comprised of highly skilled experts. Through these teams, their know-how and skills, we’re shaping the Evolution of Mobility in several ways. They include our:
